Ways to exercise more

OK what is the best way exercise routine to lose the gut for a 35 yr old male?

I've tried sit ups and cutting out junk food entirely. My arms and legs even my shoulders are looking pretty good. But the dam gut is still there. Does anyone know the best way or excercise routine that'll work to get my six pack back? Sincerely, 35 yr old fat-azz

  1. sorry, but doing sit ups isn't going to cut it. you have to add cardio to your exercise regime to slim down all over. that way you can tone up your body. I'd say hit the gym, sweat it out at least 4 -5 days a week. don't forget to add resistance training to burn more fat as well. best of luck.
  2. I agree. You have to lose the fat before you build muscle. If you dont, you are building muscle on top of fat. Which is much harder to get rid of. So start off with cardio! At least 20 minutes three times a week.
  3. Hi Richard R. Heidi K is absolutely correct! There is NO such thing as 'spot training'! Ya can't do 5,000 sit ups/crunches a day thinking that _alone_ will cause you to lose FAT from your gut region! You're going to _NEED_ to incorporate cardio into your exercise regimen! Everything from walking, jogging, running, taking the stairs, SWIMMING(uses a LOT more muscle groups!). Your best bet might even be circuit training! In so doing integrate your cardio exercises! By doing weight training you'll be creating lean muscle tissue which helps to increase your metabolism over the long haul! Have you considered joining a gym? It might do you a world of good! Once you begin at the gym a trainer will assess your abilities and what you are wanting to accomplish and he/she can set you up on a good program! Good luck Richard! Thoughts/comments<?>! 5. My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product (all natural) which I think helps a lot in the process. I recommend you check this website http://weigh-less-feel-great.us , they have a free trial and you only pay $4.95 shipping and handling. Good luck!
