what is the absolute best and quickest way to do ab exercises at home?

  1. lay down on the floor and start doing sit ups or ab crunches...u don't need any equipment...just lay down on the floor and go at it!

  3. I have two suggestions. One is to use an ab lounge, they are great and much better and results are faster than crunches or sit ups. The second is lie on your back and lift your legs -keeping them straight- about six inches off the floor. bring them all the way in to your chest and back out, and hold them there for ten seconds. Keep repeating this, and when your muscles feel like they can't do that anymore, then swing your legs straight up into the air, and back down, but don;t let them touch the floor. I have had good results with these exercises.

I am a personal trainer, When targeting the belly, to work on core, lay on back, hands behind head so you dont see your elbows from the corner of your eye, cross your ankles and elevate your legs about 1 foot off the ground. Keep your chin up (look @ the ceiling) and crunch up 6 or more inches and hold for 5 seconds, breathe!!!!!do 5 sets of 10 every day. OH!! for the obliques(sides of stomach to give hourglass shape)same position but crunch up and twist your elbows to left and right same reps.

Also there is another option but it is not too popular. Eat right, Understand functions of the abdominal muscles, work the body as a whole, and allow for ongoing fat release.
