- If you wanna lose 15 lbs in a week, then do the cabbage soup diet, you can find the recipe online.. It does work, I have tried it.
- Eat healthy foods, eat enough but not too much, and exercise almost every day. How easy is that?!
- Well I was gonna put this whole thinger about stuff but I deleted it and decided to put: Go to www.fitday.com It's easy ^-^ Oh, and about that first post, my mommy uses the cabbage soup diet. She says it works too. So Idk, maybe it does.
- Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the calorie calculator http://straighthealth.com/pages/tools/caloriecalclb.html This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both. - Best way to lose weight is NOT a DIET. Change your lifestyle and start with weight watchers..you eat anything that you want but in smaller portions. You also need to run or jog or do aerobics and then do anaerobics by doing some light weight lifting. the combination will make you lose the weight and keep it off. there is no easy way to lose weight quick, b./c the weight you lose is just water weight and it will return soon after you start back to your normal routine. The race in losing weight is not to the swift but to the one that perseveres. You have to be patient. It took a long time to gain and will take a long time to lose it. Best of luck1
- Sorry to say this but quickie diets don't work. You gain all the weight back eventually since your regular eating habits don't change. Most of the time, you gain even more weight because your body reads your diets as acute-starvation. So it stores as much fat as it can so that your body will have energy since it doesn't know when you will be eating again....or how much you'll be eating. In order to lose weight for the better, you have to change your lifestyle. Eat healthier and excersise regularly. Make sure you don't over excersise though. For eating healthier, try starting out slow so that it'll give you a higher chance to stick to it. Start with just cutting out junk foods like chips, cookies, and foods with high carbohydrates. If you're in need of snacks or jsut have a craving to eat something, munch on fruits and raw vegies...that way it fills you up and you can eat as much as you want without worrying bout calories. You might want to incorporate beans, nuts, the likes to get your proteins since you're a vegetarian, or better yet, you should try becoming a pescetarian. Its like a vegetarian except you eat fish...but no chicken, beef, pork and the likes. Because fish is high in protein, and fish fat is high in omega-3 (an essential nutrient that our brain needs)...especially salmon. You should research the internet for more info or look for books in the library...that way you won't come across as many false information. Hope that helps. Good luck. =)
- find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose. eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours) 5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day 8 glasses of water have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy have protein (legumes, soy products, milk products etc) for dinner - repairs muscle cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily. ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
- Make a healhtier lifestyle and eating habit! And I recommend you to implement the basic body clock diet guide so that you can live a better lifestyle. Then you can adjust your meals accordingly. Body clock diet 101 - Eat a big breakfast, and end it with light lunch and dinner. Foods which are eaten in the morning will convert into energy and get burned easier than foods eaten at night. - Start your day with eating high protein breakfast. Dinner should not be a high carbs - Grains and cereals should be only done in the morning to complement our body clock schedule. While - Get used to wake up at the same time everyday. - Morning sun will heat the temperature in your body. It warms up your body and set your internal clock in tune faster, your body temperature, energy and alertness will be optimized during the day. Then try to eat grapefruit in your meals. Grapefruit can help you burn off fat as proven by research by Scripps Clinic in San Diego. "On average, participants who ate half a grapefruit with each meal lost 3.6 pounds, while those who drank a serving of grapefruit juice three times a day lost 3.3 pounds. However, many patients in the study lost more than 10 pounds." I have tons of advice but these should kick start your weight loss journey by changing your lifestyle habit first.
