Hello, I feel as if I am losing my mental sharpness, I don’t know what it is. Are there mental exercises I can do (not crosswords) that can help me regain and improve my sharpness. "i am becomming a litle dumb" I am open to suggestions.

- Sudoku puzzles
- play sudoko
- Read a book. Reading is by far the best way to improve every aspect of ones mental capacity.
- Puzzles is an obvious answer. Try learning a new word everyday. Reading at least one book a week. Try studying a new language. A simple exercise is before falling asleep try to remember every detail of the day and the day before. Find a hobby. There are many ways to stimulate your mind,if you don't use it, you will loose it. Good Luck.
- Reading, progressing to difficult readings, If you can take classes in Math, Algebra, Geometry, etc. Are you living healthy, healthy foods, getting enough sleep, staying physically active?
- dance - helps with both physical and mental coordination, memory (you have to remember moves); energy; fun. group sports - as above; responsiveness is important; attention; focus play/learn a musical instrument - sight reading = a new language; music in many ways = organic math; memory. read! write! keep a journal - try to work out why you think and believe what you do. love keeps you sharp, too.
- Conversation with thinking, intelligent people. If no one is available nearby, find some group or network over the Internet to have discussions about things that interest you.
- I guess u need try something really different.. So kuaizi(chopsticks)////// ( u will see what im talking about)
- dream about ur sucess wen u regain ur sharpness . It makes u feel better. And its d best exercise.
- This is something I'm getting ready to do to exercises my brain, purchase a Nintendo DS ( http://www.nintendo.com/systemsds ). That may sound like I'm doing to rot my brain, but I plan on purchasing the "brain games" they have. I guess they have quite a few "brain games", word games, eye-hand coordination games, and math games. I'd suggest purchasing a DS and investing in some "brain games".
- You want to be sharper? Stop asking for the easiest ways. The easy ways keep you blunt.Stop being lazy. Do things which are almost to difficult. Your first task is to find them yourself, in stead of leaning backwards and letting other people do your work.
- Make friends and be with friends discussing various topics with them. Research has proved that sociability is related to memory positively. Probably -it means that if you are happier and content with life, you are more alert and sharp.
