Fun Exercise Ways To Exercise For Teens?
I'm 13 and need to lose some weight this summer. I've been looking through magazines and finding ways to shape up my body a bit. I'm trying to make up a routine to follow each day like do this and this in the morning, and this at night. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites that had ideas or if you yourself did? I'm looking more for the type of stuff that's in teen magazines like Cosmo Girl and Seventeen. Any tips and help is greatly appreciated!

- Swim with friends It doesnt seem like a workout, and swimming is amazing for you. Go for runs together Rather than sitting around gossiping do it outside, you dont even need to run you can walk. Free Time When you cant find anyone to hang with just do situps, run in circles. Just dont sit around.

- If you have any dogs take them on walks around the neighboorhood. Take ballet, tap, gymnastics, iceskating, ect. But iceskating is the absoulute best, because you need leg strength, arm strength, basically every muscle in your body you have to use. But I would just say look around a bit and use your imagination to find stuff you like... sorry I'm not much help.
- Go with this routine. If you have a bike every week ride about 3 miles. Hey I am 10 my brother is almost 14 and im almost 11. Me and him ride our bikes to the library and He is loosing weight too by trying out for football. Eat healthy foods like taco salad which is a mixture of tomatoes, cabbage, meat, olives (optional), doritos chips and I think thats all if you want ask your mom to make this for you.
- i would get some free weights and use those, or ask a gym teacher who could show you some excersizes to do with them, try just taking a walk in the morning or at night whichever you prefer and lifting free weights (which are not that expensive) also you could go swimming, you might also try eating serving sizes of things instead of eating a whole bunch, i do that, i eat the serving size and i eat slowly, when you eat slowly your stomach has time to tell you when its full so you dont feel sick aftert eating too much, if you need any more then msg me back
- ok i am goinng to stick to this plan starting monday: run around the block once each morning. bike around the whole neighbourhood after school. 10 pushups (or as many as i can do) in the evening 15 squats in the evening too. and don't snack as much. my goal is to lose 10 pounds this summer. i think i can probably do it. or at least half of it. i'm almost 13...so i hope this helped. this should get funner for me soon and easier. (and for you too if you try it)
