Anyone know any fun ways for mommys to exercise?

I am a stay at home mom of a 3 yr old and a 13 month old. I really need to lose some weight. Also, our family only has one car, that my husband takes to work, so I am stranded at home. Any suggestions?

  1. Not trying to be funny, or inappropriate, but truly, sexcapades with Hubby is GREAT exercise! Real cardio workout, work up a sweat, and the whole nine...and it keeps him from sulking about all of the time/attention required by the kids. Surprise him, and start calling him home for lunch ("Afternoon Delight"). Then, if you want, drop him back off at work and hit the mall to do some good walking while you window shop!
  2. Check and see what time Denise Austin comes on tv where you live,she is great...or you can get her tapes as well. Billy Blanks is another good one. I have his "bootcamp" tape and it is great! Best of Luck

  5. well i am in the same boat as you, except i have an 8 month old. what i have been doing is working out at home. i do aerobic stepping. its fun and you can buy lots of videos for some guidance on excercises. also i do a lot of walking, just take the kids with you, they will love to get outside. i have lost 45 pounds since i had my baby.
