Anyone know of some fun ways to exercise?

I'm not that much of an out dorsey person,but it's so much of a hassle to go to the local gym. any fun suggestions? NOTHING DIRTY PLEASE!!!! God Bless!!!!!!!!!! I'm not trying to lose weight, i just want to turn fat into muscle. anyone know what works ur inner thighs?

  1. I just got this belly dancing dvd. It's a workout, and I think it's a lot of fun.
  2. Can you get to a pool? Swimming laps doesn't even seem like exercising because it is so refreshing.
  3. you like any sports? how about swimming? if you can't find time to leave the house, try yoga. get some tapes or a book and try it out. I've found it to be a great workout, but very relaxing at the same time. body and mind type thing.
  4. Well, I don't really care to exercise but I like yoga. My first answer was way different but didn't post it because of what you wrote.
  5. Dance Dance Revolution for the arcade and play station 2 is exilerating and fun, but also gives you a quite vigerous workout. Also, a self defence combat class doesn't only teach you how to defend yourself effectively from harm, but also, depending on how vigerous the class, can work out your body ALOT, trust me on that. Other classes such as dance can produce simular results. Consult your local fitness trainer for more information to meet your wants.
  6. There are lots of at home workout videos or you could get a friend(s) and start a walikng,,jogging or workout group of your own. My friends and I make regular dates to catch a movie at the mall. When its over we walk the whole mall and shop/window shop. The tough thing about working w/ a group is that sometimes everyone's schedule doesn't mesh. Life happens, but when it does, you need to have the discipline to continue on toward your health & fitness goals. Best Wishes

  8. Take up dancing or boxing. They are pretty fun, high impact and great for toning!
  9. Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming,running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions,pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull,leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)
