Fun ways to exercise by yourself? What are some fun ways that I can exercise by myself, for example, I couldn't really play a sport alone. I'm not trying to lose weight..I just want to be healthy & improve my mood. I like to walk, but sometimes I get bored. What are some fun things to think about while walking? lol
What are fun ways to exercise and good tips for losing weight? I weigh 174 and I'm on the Jenny Craig diet. (I used to weigh 181 when I started Late August.) I know I'm not losing as much as I could because I cheat "just a little" and I didn't like to exercise. Nothing really inspired me THAT much to lose weight until a problem I got involved with not too long ago. I've been running around Wal-Mart, going on tracks, etc but I know I'll eventually get bored with it. I've considered DDR and I'm going to save up for that.. but until then, I need fun ways to exercise. I would also like tips on eating. I tend to cheat a little.. so if I do have the urge to cheat, what should I eat?
Any fun ways to exercise? I tend to get bored very easily. I have ballet/pointe/hiphop for about 3 hours Monday - Wednesday, but for the other 4 days I tend to get lazy and not do much. Are there any fun ways I'd be able to exercise those days? I've tried swimming and running, but those get very boring quickly for me. =/ Any help would be greatly appreciated! =)
Fun Exercise Ways To Exercise For Teens? I'm 13 and need to lose some weight this summer. I've been looking through magazines and finding ways to shape up my body a bit. I'm trying to make up a routine to follow each day like do this and this in the morning, and this at night. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites that had ideas or if you yourself did? I'm looking more for the type of stuff that's in teen magazines like Cosmo Girl and Seventeen. Any tips and help is greatly appreciated!

fun exercise? i wanna get in shape and am willing to do it the old fashioned way. I need some fun ways to exercise. I LOVE dancing and swimming and walking around my town and ice skating. I can't swim because I don't have money to go to a pool and its winter and its wisconsin so i can't swim outside. its obviously WAY to cold to walk around town. and i have no money to go ice skating and you can't find a section of any local lakes that have an area with thick enough ice without holes in it to go skating on. I would LOVE to have a gym membership but i know i don't have money for one. What else can i do until then? FYI. I said i loved dancing which is true but i'm not freespirited enough to dance around my house. not even my room. so don't suggest it. The idea of watching a video and kicking and punching at thin air is not an option either.
Anyone know any fun ways for mommys to exercise? I am a stay at home mom of a 3 yr old and a 13 month old. I really need to lose some weight. Also, our family only has one car, that my husband takes to work, so I am stranded at home. Any suggestions?

What are some good ways to exercise lab puppies? My lab pup is 5 months old, and I want to know a variety of ways I can exercise her. I heard somewhere that running a lab puppy for too long a distance can over time cause hip problems, so I'm not sure running with her would be good for her. Right now, we walk about 3 miles a day together, but she still has a lot of energy left over at the end of that. What else can I do that is fun, low-impact exercise? I take her to the dog park about 3 days a week, too. She's a bit shy around other dogs, so she doesn't end up playing some of the time and doesn't really run around too much. She also doesn't like swimming, even though that's pretty weird for a lab. She's kind of forcing us to walk that far, not the other way around... she still wants to walk more when we get back! I don't know how else to burn off her energy, either.
Build strength, gain about 20 pounds? Easy, fun ways to go about it? Alright so I'm trying to get to a healthy weight, My goal is 20 pounds to gain, and that's at the lower end of the spectrum of the healthy weight for my frame and height. i I don't have a gym membership, wont have the money for that for a while, but what other kind of ways can I exercise and build strength and gain weight? My recommendation daily caloric intake is 3700.. Probably twice what I'm used to eating so it'll take a while for me to get used to that.. but I don't just want to get pudgy from eating and not being active.

how do i stop snacking and make exercise fun? im 16 and i love to snack and eat... for the most part i eat rather healthy but i eat ALOT. i am on a team and get exercise that way but i know i need more. the only problem is that i get so bored when i exercise. even if i listen to music, so i usually end up skipping it. im not fat or anything, but i definitely dont feel good in a bathing suit and am even self conscouis in regular clothes. i just want to loose a few pounds, and refuse to use diet pills. i feel like am i constantly getting fatter and i want to feel better about myself when i look in the mirror.
Looking for Weight Loss Help (Eating, Motivation & Exercise)? Ok.....my boyfriend is leaving soon for work and the next time that I see him will be around Christmas time. At which time I will be seeing friends and family that I have not seen for over a year. I am currently 5'10" and about 185 lbs and I sooooooo desperatly want to loose weight and tone up (10 to 15 lbs would be great, I don't want to be skinny). And it would be sooo nice to go home and for everyone to be like "WOW". I always start to work out and it seems like something always stops me (it is so fustrating). I need some advise on staying motivated and a good, fun way to exercise. As for eating healthy, I am little bit of a picky eater (not big on onions, peppers, melons, green bean, you can get the picture). If someone could please help me figure out a good eating plan and exercise routine I would be soooo gratefull.
have you tried alternative ways to exercise?......? Like using a pole...my friend has just had one fitted in her house, it is so much fun....it is apparently the new way to loose weight doing all those tricks up, and down it....now i'm thinking of getting one myself...has anyone tried using the pole?......to exercise.....

Any great and fun ways to get fit for the Army? I would like to be recruited for the US Army, however, I am not as fit as I should be in order to be sent to Basic Training. I've already thought of the following things, so please don't re-list them: Dancing Archery Indoor Rock climbing Swimming Surfing Windsurfing Hiking unfamiliar trails Roller skating Ice skating Flying a kite Snowboarding Skiing Games: Laser tag Capture the Flag Hide and Seek Tag Dodgeball Paintball Active Treasure Hunt Obstacle course Jumping on the Trampoline And no, I don't consider things like biking, jogging, going to the gym, or doing repetitions of sit-ups and push-ups exciting. I'm not into exercise videos like Tae Bo, or traditional sports like basketball either, so please try to think of something else. First applicable answer gets the ten points.
Finding new ways to exercise with the kids with out them knowing it as exercise.? the kids and I walk a mile or two every day unless its raining. We throw the football to each other as we are walking our neighborhood. Its fun and more exciting than just walking. We even get some running into it. Now when it rains or really cold, I look up music and play songs I think they will enjoy. We dance and have fun. They do not realize they are working out. I am getting compliments on how the kids are looking. I feed them right. Wished you could see their pictures from last year and see them now. I am looking for other ideas on how to exercise them without them knowing its a work out. In the past 9 months, my daughter 11 went from 130lbs to 109lbs and my son 7 went from 106lbs to 87lbs and I went from 267lbs to 229lbs. We all weighed in today. Any more Ideas?

Whats some fun and great ways to get fit and healthy? Today I woke up and said to myself "I want to get fit and healthy". I have said this to myself many times before but today I really do mean it! The part I find really hard is knowing where I should start and if its going to be fun! I have tried the treadmills and exercise bikes but they just get really boring. If you were going to start today to get fit and healthy while having fun doing it how would you do it?
Fun thing way to exercize...? Like for the weekend instead of feeling like I gained weight I want to feel the opposite. I tend to over eat on the weekends I want to get out of this habit by doing some fun exercise with a friend what do you recommend?
